Deering Estate is a cultural asset and historic site listed on the National Register of Historic Places. As a 21st Century museum destination for tourists and local residents, a variety of signature events, programs, tours, and classes are offered throughout the year.

About the event
In science we have been studying fossils, and in social studies we have studied primary sources. To enhance the students’ learning our class will be going on a field trip.
On February 3rd. We plan to go to Deering Estates. Once there the students will have the opportunity to do an archaeology activity and another activity on animal adaptations.
LUNCH
Students need to bring lunch in a bag or a disposable container with their name on it.
ATTIRE
Students are to wear their PE uniforms, sneakers and Student ID.
